Birthday Wishes

Yippee, I came in second for last weeks Stamp Fairy challenge. Thank you so much ladies.

Now for this week's challenge we have to do paper piecing, I haven't tried it much and this is a great opportunity to try it again. My paper piecing is the dress, I used a piece of cherry blossom vellum and colored it in with Copics to make the flower stand out.I used Josy Christmas but used for a birthday card and you can purchase her here. I used the following materials:

Skating Penguin

This cute penguin is from Designed 2 Delight, and I am entering my card in the Card Ideas Challenge for Designed 2 Delight. The challenge is Christmas Wintry Color Combo using blues and purples and any embellishments that seems icy. I used the following materials:

My Heart

This is a card for a The Outlawz challenge CAS. The challenge is to have red and one embellishment and a lot of open space. I used a heart punch that I took apart to make the heart, the papers are Curious Metallics in Ice Silver (embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots) and Malmero Pearle in Vermilion from Cut Cardstock and the ribbon is from Paper Temptress. I will probably be giving this to my Hubby for Valentine's Day.
